Vol Hoops exists for conversation, community, recruiting discussion, game reactions, analysis, debate, and everything in between. We do not expect everyone to agree. We do expect everyone to help make this a place fans enjoy visiting.

🍊 Debate the Take, Not the Fan

Disagree all day long about coaching decisions, recruiting classes, player performance, rankings, tournament hopes, or SEC rivals. Challenge opinions. Do not attack people.

🔥 Passion Is Welcome

Sports are emotional. Celebrate, vent, laugh, question rotations, and complain about officiating. Just do not cross into harassment, threats, or repeated hostility toward other members.

🗣️ About Profanity

Reasonable conversational language is generally fine. “That was a hell of a game” or “What a damn shot” will usually be treated as normal sports talk. Profanity directed at another member, excessive profanity, hateful slurs, abusive language, or obscene content is not permitted. Context matters, and moderators will use common sense.

📣 Recruiting, Rumors & Sources

Recruiting talk is part of the fun. Please cite sources when possible, identify rumors as rumors, and distinguish fact from speculation. Predictions are welcome. Presenting speculation as confirmed fact is not.

🚫 Content That May Be Removed

• Personal attacks, harassment, credible threats, or encouragement of violence
• Hate speech, discriminatory slurs, or content targeting protected groups
• Sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise adult-only material
• Illegal content, instructions that facilitate serious wrongdoing, or dangerous content
• Spam, scams, impersonation, deceptive links, coordinated manipulation, or bot activity
• Doxxing, passwords, financial details, private contact information, or other sensitive personal information
• Copyright-infringing material or content you do not have the right to share
• Malicious misinformation, repeated trolling, or attempts to evade moderation

Vol Hoops may display advertising on pages that also contain community posts. To protect the community and keep those pages suitable for broad audiences and advertising partners, moderators may remove or limit content that violates these Guidelines even when the content is otherwise related to sports discussion.

Most issues can be handled with a reminder or warning. Repeated or severe violations may result in content removal, thread restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community.
