Vol Hoops exists for conversation, community, recruiting discussion, game reactions, analysis, debate, and everything in between. We do not expect everyone to agree. We do expect everyone to help make this a place fans enjoy visiting.
Disagree all day long about coaching decisions, recruiting classes, player performance, rankings, tournament hopes, or SEC rivals. Challenge opinions. Do not attack people.
Sports are emotional. Celebrate, vent, laugh, question rotations, and complain about officiating. Just do not cross into harassment, threats, or repeated hostility toward other members.
Reasonable conversational language is generally fine. “That was a hell of a game” or “What a damn shot” will usually be treated as normal sports talk. Profanity directed at another member, excessive profanity, hateful slurs, abusive language, or obscene content is not permitted. Context matters, and moderators will use common sense.
Recruiting talk is part of the fun. Please cite sources when possible, identify rumors as rumors, and distinguish fact from speculation. Predictions are welcome. Presenting speculation as confirmed fact is not.
Vol Hoops may display advertising on pages that also contain community posts. To protect the community and keep those pages suitable for broad audiences and advertising partners, moderators may remove or limit content that violates these Guidelines even when the content is otherwise related to sports discussion.
Please use the Flag feature when necessary. Let moderators handle violations rather than risking confrontation.
Most issues can be handled with a reminder or warning. Repeated or severe violations may result in content removal, thread restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community.

← Back to All ThreadsThis bracket is absolutely ridiculous for November. Tennessee could run into Maryland, Iowa State/San Diego State, then a group including St. John’s, Louisville, Texas Tech or Oregon - while Gonzaga, Alabama, Michigan and Baylor sit on the other side.
Vegas should tell us an awful lot about these Vols.
